Ingredients:

The recipe for the Emily’s Chipotle Chili is short. It requires fewer ingredients compared to the other dishes that has chili on them. Here it is.

• Quarter pound beef, must be ground and lean
• One large Italian sausage, sliced into cubes and must be hot
• Kidney beans, canned or fresh
• Tomatoes, diced, canned or fresh
• One small can of tomato sauce
• One small can of tomato paste

For the seasonings:
• Cumin
• Chili powder
• Garlic and onion, diced
• Green Chipotle peppers, diced
• Coriander
• Salt and pepper

Take note that this will only feed 3-4 people.

Preparation Instructions:

In two different containers, fry beef and Italian Sausage. Make sure to season the beef with salt and pepper. After they are brown, tender and soft, put them together in a larger pan. Do not include the liquid from the other 2 frying pans. Make sure to take away any excess fat. Then, add the seasonings but do not include the green chipotle peppers yet. Let these two and the other seasoning boil and simmer for a couple of minutes. Pour the tomato sauce, paste and add the tomatoes. Let it sit on medium fire for a couple of more minutes. Once it gets creamier, add the green Chipotle peppers. Let them simmer for 30 to 60 seconds. Letting it sit longer in fire will make it spicier. Serve.
