• 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
• 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
• 2 pounds lean ground beef
• 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
• 2 cups rinsed and drained canned red beans
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin

The original recipe for this menu is good for 10 serving. You can change the amount of recipe if you prefer to add more serving than the original one. The Flatlander Chili can be prepared easy. You need to use a deep skillet and put ground beef on it. You will basically have to drain it and then set it aside. In another kettle, you can add the ingredients and then make sure to boil it. Next, you will have to reduce the medium heat so you can simmer the ingredients in about 1 up to 1 and a half hours. You have to occasionally stir it.

You will just need 15 minutes for the preparation of the ingredients. Then, you will need another 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes for cooking.
